ACCOUNT WARNING & APPEAL

If a Claude account is disabled, do not start with reinstalling

Identify the notice and use the official appeal channel first. Reinstalling a client cannot erase server-side account, payment, network, or history records.

Step one: preserve the notice and identify the status

Keep the suspension message, timestamp, account type, and related email. Do not assume that one IP, language, or device signal caused the action because this site and community reports cannot see Anthropic's complete decision process.

  • Safety warning: read the cited policy and requested corrective action.
  • Login failure or suspension: use the appeal path provided by the official help center.
  • Billing issue: use billing support and do not automatically treat it as an environment ban.

Step two: use the official appeal channel

Use accurate account information and briefly explain the real use case, the notice received, and what you want reviewed. Do not submit fabricated evidence or send repeated bulk requests.

Review Anthropic's safeguards warnings and appeals guidance before submitting because the process can change.

When reinstalling is actually useful

Reinstall the official client only for damaged files, startup failures, failed updates, or version problems. Reinstalling does not remove account, billing, access history, or safety records already held by the platform.

A “clean uninstall” is not an account appeal. Do not treat cache deletion or device-trace removal as a way to bypass a platform decision.

Can you create a new account?

Only consider a new account when the platform rules, notice, or support team permits it, and use accurate, consistent information. If the notice prohibits further registration, changing email addresses or hiding associations may create additional problems.

This site does not provide fingerprint clearing, account-link evasion, or suspension bypass instructions.
